A building on fire

We use water to control fire.The science behind this process tells the unique nature of water. Water takes the heat from fire and acts as a blanket. When water takes heat it stops the supply of oxygen.Oxygen is a supporter of combustion and when the oxygen supply is stopped the fire is extinguished. Wherever water evaporates cooling is caused. So evaporating water on the surface of water causes cooling, thus bringing fire to extinguish. On the same basis a sheet of BLANKET is put as an emergency to protect the fire victim.
